Journey to 125

Christmas was not good for me or I guess it was more like I was not good for me during Christmas. As they say, “don’t be hard on yourself and start over the next day.” which is what I am doing. Yesterday I ate healthy all day except for some damn pretzel M&Ms and carrot cake. The carrot cake was all natural and was sweetened with pineapple. That makes it  a little better right? I feel so freaking lazy. Last week was just way to crazy to get much working out in so I have to really get my shit together. The semi good news is that I didn’t gain any weight, but I also didn’t lose any either. I will lose weight this week for sure!


Josh is making this week even harder for me! He wants treats and more treats. I finally told him yesterday that I wasn’t making anymore. I am going to give some stuff to my parents so that day I will make some and put it straight into the bags! I have no will power when it comes to some things I have realized, so they just need to be out of sight.

Oh Christmas

I have realized that I have no will power when it comes to holiday baking goodies. They are just so delicious. My friends and I made eggnog truffles, eggnog cookies, muddy buddies, and this stuff called Christmas Crack this weekend and I had to try it all! I did make sure that almost all of it was given away so that I wasn’t tempted to eat too much. I have had to really watch myself the last few days so that I can stay on track for the rest of the week.

Today I did the 30DS and it felt amazing! I actually didn’t feel like I was going to die afterwards. Yes I was tired and I felt a little shaky afterwards, but it wasn’t like the first time I tried it. I definitely am going to do it the right way and actually do it for 30 days straight. Tomorrow Josh and I are taking our daughter to 321 Bounce where we will get a work out and have fun! I am so looking forward to losing another 2lbs this week!

Even though I failed at my diet yesterday, I still lost another pound!! YAY!! Although it was not my official weigh in day I felt I needed to check. I am going to work out like crazy so I can see another pound tomorrow!


Soooo Baddddd!!!!!!!

Ugh today was not a good diet day. Josh, the girls, and I went to lunch with his grandma and had gourmet pizza. It was delicious. Then I had to have a cannoli, they are amazing. I only had half though. So instead of a whopping 350 cal, it was 175 cal. I did my best to account for my calories the rest of the day, but still ended up over by about 200. I still didn’t go over my 1500 absolute limit though. Thank goodness. Well tomorrow is another day and I will eat and exercise like crazy.


Day 11

With Christmas getting closer it is becoming so hard to say no to sweets. They are everywhere. Last night I gave in and had one Ferrero Rocher, they are 73 calories for one little hazelnut chocolate. I don’t regret it though, I just have to remember to only have one and account for it with my calories. We are allowed some sweet stuff right? I think I would go crazy if I couldn’t have a little bit of chocolate. I also found some low-cal ice cream and Diet mug so I made a root beer float last night that only had 100 calories!!! I love it! Because I went to Zumba two days in a row I was under my net calorie intake for both days. Wed was under by 350 and Thursday was under by 348.

I have to remember to exercise when I get into a good book. I am one of those people who will just read and read until the book is basically done. At least I’m not one who snacks while I read. I just like to drink coffee or tea. Yesterday I read The Hunger Games again. Now it has been over a year since I read it the last time so I feel its okay. I am just preparing myself for the movie to come out next March;-) Thank goodness I did go to Zumba otherwise it definitely would have been a lazy day!
